Wick (or Wickhop) started with rap at a young age, rapping for a rock-Hiphop crossover project at the time.
When they broke up Wick had to find his own way to make instrumentals and beats to rap on. That resulted in Wick starting to learn how to make music with some samples, a computer and tracker software at the age of 13 already. This was the beginning of a long journey through music-production.

Around 2003 he got in contact with the German-American Rapper /Singer /Songwriter 'Ironlaw' by Dj / Breakdancer and Drummer - Rhythmmatic. Ironlaw who was also know for being the frontman of the band 'Coalition of the Wicked' used to come alot to Wick's place to check out new beats and record some stuff on it. At the time Wickhop & Ironlaw recorded several songs, and together with Dj Triple C they formed 'RD' (Raw Delivery).

In 2006 Wick got in contact with Filster by his former manager. After they met Filster came more than weekly from his hometown Utrecht to Rotterdam to record a huge amount of tracks.

In 2007 Wick graduated for his diploma audio-engineering at the SAE institute Rotterdam where he had worked on recording projects with several artists like. : Tim Beumers(VSOP), Karima(Dignity, Spec), Ebred Reijnen, Erwin Gielen, Tjerk Schoonheim, Mike Tibbert(VSOP), Tomster(3x0), Ferdi Ceelen, and many others. After his graduation he has worked as a lecturer for SAE for a few years.

Around 2007 he was still working with Filster alot when they started recording several featurings with Cc (vsop) and later also with Mike Metal (Tuigcommissie, Tranzlate). After recording several tracks with the four of them, they have decided to continue working together as the group : 'Zegevier'. For Zegevier Wick has made the logo-design, produced several tracks, and made all the videoclips.

In 2010 Zegevier toured in China where they performed at several cities including Beijing, Shanghai, HangZhou, ZhengZhou and they played at the Dutch Culture Centre at the World Expo 2010 in Shanghai. (Working on new music for Zegevier will include a real interesting project, read more about it in the upcoming blogs!)

Besides music Wick has always been working on many projects like Design of t-shirts, websites, graffiti, layouts, logo’s, cd-covers, flyers, making of paintings but also filming and editing of videoclips. Specialising in After Effects, animation, leaders, bumpers, logo-animation, VFX, Title-design, matte painting, etc etc..

Wick's Video work includes videos like :  Cc videos : Wind van voren, Beef met Beats, C2thaC-2, Ik Domineer. But also the Zegevier videos like : Wickhop & Filster - Kruispunt, Zegevier - De druk is laag,  Zegevier - Cashflow,  Zegevier ft. Gobz - Geen Twijfel, Zegevier-Echte Mc's...
